During her eight years in the public and political spotlight, Michele Bachmann has been a lot of things. Boring, however, is not one of them.
As the Republican representing Minnesota prepares to retire from Congress, she's staying true to form, and standing still just long enough to chat with Dana Bash, the CNN journalist who's forever been chasing her down.
Watch the video above for Bash's lively interview with Bachmann, including the 58-year-old mother of five's nod to hip-hop's Macklemore.
As surveillance video is released from an apparent robbery at a local Ferguson, Missouri convenience store, on Friday evening Don Lemon interviewed Freeman Bosley Jr., Dorian Johnson's attorney.
Johnson appears to be depicted in the video alongside his late friend, Michael Brown.
Having initially appeared on CNN earlier in the week, Johnson failed to mention that he and his friend were involved in an incident at the store just hours before Brown was shot and killed by police.
While Bosley Jr. maintains that his client didn't lie in earlier interviews, Lemon presented an alternate perspective:
"Isn't that lying by omission," he asked.
Watch the above video to hear how the attorney answered that question, and also to learn more about Johnson's recent conversations with police following his friends death.
Reporting from the ground in Ferguson, Missouri, CNN's Jason Carroll profiles 18-year-old Michael Brown, the young man shot and killed by a local police officer nearly a week ago.
In his story, Carroll presents two distinct and opposing descriptions.
In one case, friends and family members describe the teen they knew as "Big Mike" to be a gentle giant, someone whose large build was matched only by an even bigger heart.
However, surveillance video from a nearby convenience store depicts Brown as an aggressive petty thief, one who shoplifted a package of cigars on the morning of his death.
For a balanced look at the teen that was Michael Brown, watch Carroll's report above.
Amid the aftermath of a police shooting that left 18-year-old Michael Brown dead, and on a day which saw the release of the name of the police officer involved, Don Lemon took viewers on a tour through the peaceful protests of Ferguson, Missouri.
Watch the video above as the CNN host travels through a drum circle, interviewing residents who say they'll continue their demonstration for "as long as it takes," adding that the entire event is "a good time in the name of Mike Brown."
Anderson Cooper goes beyond the headlines to tell stories from many points of view, so you can make up your own mind about the news. Tune in weeknights at 8 and 10 ET on CNN.
