Dan and Gil Harrington are living a nightmare that few parents can even imagine. Their daughter Morgan was murdered in 2009 after leaving a Metallica concert on the campus of the University of Virginia. They just learned there could be a DNA link to Jesse Matthew Jr., the man arrested days ago in connection with the disappearance of UVA sophomore Hannah Graham.
The Harringtons spoke with Anderson. They discussed Matthew's possible involvement in Morgan's death, the Hannah Graham case and they shared memories of their daughter. Morgan's father also delivered a powerful message to suspect Jesse Matthew.
The man who police believe was the last person to see missing UVA sophomore Hannah Graham is now behind bars. Investigators say the arrest of Jesse Matthew led to a "significant break" in the 2009 death of Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington. She vanished after attending a Metallica concert on the UVA campus. Jean Casarez looks at what is being described as a "new forensic link" between the two cases.
The Hannah Graham case has brought new attention to other cases of missing young women. Randi Kaye looks at two who disappeared within 60 miles of each other.
Anderson Cooper goes beyond the headlines to tell stories from many points of view, so you can make up your own mind about the news. Tune in weeknights at 8 and 10 ET on CNN.
