Drew Griffin: A lot of people who caused this mess are still at the VA

Today, VA Secretary Robert McDonald announced a massive overhaul of the Veterans Affairs. It follows a scandal that was uncovered by CNN Senior Investigative Correspondent Drew Griffin.  For a year, Drew has been reporting on veterans waiting months for care at VA facilities, with sometimes deadly consequences. Secretary McDonald said that disciplinary action has been taken against 5,600 employees and more firings are on the way. Drew Griffin discusses today's developments with Anderson.

Anderson Cooper or Drew Griffin, I wish you would look into a story, that may turn out to be as big as the VA scandal.
What would you do if you had a spouse or child die, then the life insurance company refused to pay you? You say 'They can't do that.'? What are you going to do? Take them to court? Sue them? You think you have enough money to fight them? It could take you three or four years. They make their own rules, then ignore their own rules. I'm not making this up! It's absolutely criminal. I'd like to know how many people OFEGLI has refused to pay in the last year. And how much have they refused to pay out in the last 5 years, 10 years? And what kind of bonuses the execs and employees get for denying a claim. Please do some investigating!
