Jason Carroll's exclusive interview with Ferguson, MO police chief Thomas Jackson

With tensions running high, and an indictment announcement imminent, on Thursday evening CNN's Jason Carroll sat down with embattled Ferguson police chief Thomas Jackson.

Despite rumors of the Missouri cop's potential resignation continually serving as national news fodder, Jackson referenced what he described as progress between those mourning for Michael Brown and calling for action, and those supporting the local police force and officer Darren Wilson.

To hear Jackson's interview, and Carroll's assessment of the situation from on the ground in Ferguson, watch the above video.
