Two days after a terrifying and deadly firearm incident devastated the government and people of Canada, on Friday evening Anderson Cooper remembered the beloved father who perished in the incident.

Schoolmate: Marysville school shooter was "well-liked, respected in community"

Following a day which left two teens dead, and four others injured, after a school shooting in the state of Washington, on Friday evening Anderson Cooper interviewed Nate Heckendorf, a student at Marysville-Pilchuck High School.

Watch the above video as Heckendorf describes one of the dead, a girl he's know since the fourth grade, while also detailing the exchange he had with the shooter, who took his own life, on the morning of the incident.
