Keeping Them Honest: Inside the VA's process of firing

The VA has begun the process of dismissing four high level officials, including one at the center of the 2012 outbreak of legionnaire's disease. It sickened 21 veterans in Pittsburgh and five later died. Drew Griffin tells Anderson that at the VA, "you go on a 'sort of' wait list to be fired."

If the Aurora Killer were to die begging his prison hospital for help, everyone involved
would be fired, sued, and prosecuted. When disabled veterans die the same way, the VA gets immunity and their own police force.

WHY CAN'T DISABLED VETERANS HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS AS THE AURORA KILLER?
