Barak Barfi is not just the spokesman for the Sotloff family, he and Steven were childhood friends. He tells Anderson that Steven was targeted by ISIS, sold at the border and was kidnapped at a fake checkpoint. Barfi also criticizes the government's handling of the situation.
Barak Barfi wanted to share photos of Steven when he was young.

On the day of or the day after I saw a phone video (on CNN I believe) taken by a nearby resident who had come outside his home right after the shooting. As he took the video on Michael brown laying in the street he asked what had happened. Two other bystanders told him that "the brother charged at the cop". I haven't seen that video since that day. I wonder why? Must not fit the story that the media wants to tell.
