"Everything Joan did, she created herself," Kathy Griffin told Anderson as she shared memories of how Joan Rivers blazed a trail for her and other women in comedy. Kathy talked about one of their private moments recalling Joan's advice:
"When you are a woman in this business, you have to hold on until your knuckles are white and they chop your fingers off. Then you hold on by your wrist, then you hold on by your elbows and you never let go."
Anderson continued the conversation, talking with Kathy about Joan's public persona and the person she knew when the cameras were off.

She will be missed terribly. #WeLoveYouJoan

She will never be equalled, and will always be missed.
