James Foley was kidnapped in November 2012 while reporting on the conflict in Syria. Today we are learning that the U.S. launched a failed attempt to rescue him and other hostages earlier this summer. Foley has now been beheaded by ISIS terrorists. We want to look back on the courageous way in which he lived his life and the work he was so passionate about.

Sad day for humanity. In this century, some groups are acting lower than Apes.
To all 1 Billion Muslims in the world: shame on you for not speaking out against those who do this in your name. Silence is acceptance. I expect EVERY ONE OF YOU to condemn this, especially religious leaders. There is something fundamentally wrong with a religion that tolerates this behavior as some sort of godliness.
Since ISIS demanded $132 million in ransom, the US should donate that amount to their enemies.
