For a while it seemed like the violence that has been plaguing Ferguson may have calmed down. But at around 11pm, tensions reached a boiling point. Ed Lavandera looks at the events that brought Ferguson to this point.

Non violence has solved more problems than it creates. "No justice, no peace!" Sounds confrontational. My mantra during the Soviet post war occupation of the Baltic states, was "Nyet, nyet, Soviet!"
It seems to me that Ferguson needs a spiritual revival. Music inspires movement, and perhaps a three day gospel concert is needed to move people toward a positive direction of peace, love, and music? Where are the church choirs?
How many white police officers have been killed by Negroes this year? Has anyone checked to see if this number is increasing causing police to be on edge and nervous? Does anyone in the media care?
