Keeping Them Honest: Will a deal in Congress reform the Veterans Affairs health system?

There is a rare bipartisan agreement in Congress that comes after months of CNN's reporting on secret wait lists at VA hospitals and veterans dying while waiting for care. A $17 billion deal is aimed at fixing the troubled Veterans Affairs health system. Drew Griffin has been Keeping Them Honest on the problems at the VA, and he breaks down how lawmakers plan to use this money to fix the mess.

I am sorry to post this here, but I had no idea where else to communicate about this problem anywhere on "Keeping Them Honest." So here is the link to a possible problem of fraud charity that involves dogs, cats and other pets. Link: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/08/18/the-sleazy-war-on-the-humane-society.html I hope you can keep an eye on these organizations and figure out who is telling the truth. Thanks a lot Anderson and team for Keeping Them Honest.

Anderson, the VA is notorious for abdicating responsibility in the name of "POLICY."

We are provider and patient advocates who know first-hand what its like to deal with VA personnel that violate federal law.

Drew, you can write a request under the Freedom of Information Act to request an electronic written copy of the:

VHA "POLICY," handbook, directive or statutory authority, VA police rely upon to state that members of the free press cannot stand and film in front of (name the location.)

Contact me for the gentleman's name over the VHA FOIA Office.
