Sgt. Josh Korder: There is not a doubt in my mind that he deserted us

We don't know why Bowe Bergdahl walked off his base, leaving his fellow soldiers and his weapon behind. Retired Sergeant Josh Korder was in Bergdahl's platoon when he was captured. Sgt. Korder explains to Anderson why he and other soldiers were not surprised to hear it was Bergdahl who disappeared after learning someone was missing.

Pamela Brown takes a closer look at Bowe Bergdahl's time in the military.

Josh Korder, who served with Bergdahl in Afghanistan, and one of the accusers claiming Bergdahl is a deserter or traitor and the spew unsubstantiated claims that 6 soldiers died looking for Bergdahl was “Other than Honorable” discharged from the Army.

We don't know the specifics reasons why Korder received an "Other than Honorable" discharge, but, it is important to know that one of the guys trashing Bergdahl and spreading unsubstantiated accusations against Bergdahl received an "Other than Honorable" discharge.

I appreciate and understand that everyone is entitled to their opinions and have a right to voice those opinions. That’s the great thing about being an American! However, can I just clear something up Korder did not receive a other than honorable discharge. He received a General under HONORABLE conditions…. He had a Stellar record with the military receiving multiple awards including
Purple Heart: For wounds received in action
Army Commendation medal with ‘V’ Device: For courage and outstanding action in combat
2 Army Commendation medals: For superior service and unparalleled professionalism
Army Good Conduct Ribbon: For 3 years continuous service without any negative actions
3 Army Achievement medals: For various outstanding actions which merited recognition
Certificate of Achievement: For graduating in the top 10% in the Army Non Commissioned Officer Academy
Combat Infantryman’s Badge: For participating in an actual combat situation as an infantryman
Airborne Wings: For graduating Army Airborne School
      And many many more!
Thank you for reading. I just wanted to let everyone know that there is a lot of false things being said. And I do appreciate and value everyone’s right to freedom of speech. 🙂 I hope I’m not offending anyone. And if anyone has any questions I am willing to answer any and all of them. 🙂
