This week marks one year since Cleveland kidnapping survivors Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight were rescued. They endured years of unspeakable horrors inside 2207 Seymour Avenue, while those who lived nearby had no idea of what was going on.
Neighbor Charles Ramsey says he had "walked past this house every day and every night" and saw no sign of the three women trapped inside. Then one day he spotted Amanda Berry, setting off an amazing rescue.
Michelle Knight, who was held captive for 11 years, spoke to Anderson Cooper about the moment she was saved. She says she initially feared it was a trick orchestrated by her captor. When she realized her hellish ordeal was finally ending, she clung to a police officer and said, "Please don't let me go, please don't put me down."
