President Obama condemned Donald Sterling for making "incredibly racist statements." Some of the biggest names in basketball, like Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and LeBron James have been speaking out against the L.A. Clippers owner. Filmmaker Spike Lee spoke exclusively to Anderson Cooper and questioned who in the NBA "is going to want to play for this guy?"

Anderson Cooper goes beyond the headlines to tell stories from many points of view, so you can make up your own mind about the news. Tune in weeknights at 8 and 10 ET on CNN.

Plantation owners didn't give their black women 2 million in gifts and god knows how much money she played old Sterling out of. Spike Lee should be fired from his commentary job for NBA Radio. He is just as racist as Sterling is.
As these comments show, it's just as Spike Lee said "It (racism) is always there, right under the surface." Let me hear these same poster renounce Sterling and his unfiltered filth. To paraphrase the late Christopher Hitchens, if you gave Sterling and enema, he could fit in a match box.
Did you even read my post ? Racist talking about a racist? I was giving my opinion that Spike who is a well known racist was talking about sterling a known rich racist, was just bad TV. So what he's a fan, I'm sure other non racist celebrities attend basketball games interview them.
Hey Spike no one had a problem taking his millions even though he had discrimination suits against him from years ago. And, for CNN to bring on a known racist who admittedly harasses interracial couples with "daggers" of contempt brings a new low to CNN reporting. The fact that this is who you brought on suggests a bias in the reporting of this story.
Exactly. Spike Lee is a hypocrite.. I turned the channel when he showed up on CNN. Why is his opinion any more valid than anyone else.
Reblogged this on moneyfromhomesa.
Anderson why would you invite a Racist on your show to discus another Racist?
Good one! For a director he sure did not have intelligent comments.
That's the pot calling the kettle black. Spike Lee is a talented director there is no doubt. But he himself is a racist. File that under your hidden and no reporting lackies CNN.
Spike is as entitled to his viewpoint as you are, and at least he admits he is a racist, though I'll remind you that he points his criticism at both European- and African-Americans. Spike Lee is also a rather rabid NBA fan, so there are two good reasons for his opinion being newsworthy. If you are not interested, then it is best if you don't listen, but some of us prefer to do so.
