The thought of heroin has always terrified me & the knowledge I have of it has always horrified me. It seems like such an inescapable drug once it gets it's claws in you; just like meth it's a super-fast life destroying substance. I have great admiration for anyone who is able to overcome it, and immeasurable sadness for anyone who isn't.
I'm sometimes amazed at the high availability of heroin. I've never been to a country where heroin is not available. Being from a small nation myself, Maldives, some may wonder because of the hundreds of islands here it'll be difficult to get it here; but sadly, that is not the case, it is just always walking distance away.
