How could a couple of inches of snow bring Atlanta to a halt? That’s the question many are asking. Some drivers abandoned their cars on the gridlocked highway. Others spent the night sheltering wherever they could find a warm place to stay. No one can control the weather, but Atlanta's mayor is getting plenty of blame for the chaos that's still going on there.

I was driving on a main road when the snow started falling and a few minutes later I asked my self, why isn't there salt on the road? This is a main road and we knew it was going to snow since yesterday... It took us ( me and my two small children) 15 hours to get home.
The state of Georgia made the children of Cobb County go to school. All the other counties were posted as closed. It was not until the snow hit the ground that I was notified by phone and text that the kids were leaving 2 hours early. My 2 teens used their own judgement to walk home and to not wait on the bus. The H.S. kids who waited for the bus did not get home until 10 PM.
