Keeping Them Honest: Chris Christie’s bridge crisis

There are new allegations that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's office ordered lane closings that snarled traffic at the George Washington Bridge. It was reportedly political payback after the mayor of the city affected by the traffic jam refused to endorse Christie. Many see Governor Christie as the Republicans’ best hope to win the White House in 2016. Anderson takes a closer look at the crisis rocking the Christie camp, along with Christie's reputation as a bipartisan uniter.

Anderson discussed all of this with Senior Political Analyst David Gergen, Chief National Correspondent John King and Chief Political Analyst Gloria Borger.

I believe Governor Christie knew. He just has a loyal administration willing to take the fall for him. There must not be a paper trail leading back to him that would show he knew. If it were the President not knowing would not be a adequate excuse. He's just getting a taste of what it's like in the big White House. He knew and he knows he knew.
