Well I know plenty of people who started smoking pot as a teenager and have not lost IQ points. They are good parents, hold jobs and are not fat. 12 kids in 5 years for marijuana......how about pills? Heroin? Meth? ALCOHOL? People are so narrow-minded these days and everyone thinks they are right. Let me govern my own life and that of my family.
Good pot has always been expensive. But I can recall when pretty decent pot could be bought for 10 to 20 dollars for a whole oz. But that was back in the 70s. I expect the prices will go down when there are more places to buy it.
$400 a ounce...that's street prices...tell you the truth you can get it cheaper in the streets..... they better change that if they want to make money especially since its legal.. that means ppl don't have to buy it from stores...... the point is to take the money from the illegal dealers... with prices like this, the street vendors are going to be still in business
The negative health impact marijuana has on the young mind should not be dismissed in favor of accumulating tax revenue. By saying you can legally obtain marijuana, we are telling future generations that it is ok to consume this toxic smoke !!
You don't have to smoke it. There are other ways to consume it that are not harmful to the lungs. Not saying I condone people under the age of 21 using it but it does have it's benefits over the use of pills, that are more dangerous and legal.
The only thing toxic are the negative opinions. Pot is not toxic. Cigarettes and alcohol are toxic. All kids will try to emulate adults, and kids will always get into trouble ehen not properly monitored and educated. Pot is for adults, and kids have to wait till they're of legal age to buy it, just the same as with ciggs and booze. I hope they choose pot over ciggs and booze.
