It's hard to imagine what life has been like for Lee Harvey Oswald's widow for the past 50 years. Marina Oswald Porter started a new life, with a new husband, but understandably she has become somewhat reclusive as the decades have gone by. Anderson spoke to Priscilla Johnson McMillan, one of the few people alive who met both President Kennedy and his killer. She was a researcher for JFK when she was in her 20s, and later met Oswald while working as a reporter in the Soviet Union.

She will always be a mysterious character. There is little evidence that Oswald knew Marina very well at all before he showed up back in the U.S. with his Russian instant wife. He told his girlfriend in New Orleans that Marina was just some kind of an element of his cover story. Oswald was our key operative in the Cold War with Russia. I am sure a native born Russian wife would have been an immense help to his intelligence analysis.
After the initial shock of November 1963, she was probably glad to be rid of him just like the rest of us.
Rid of Lee Harvey Oswald I mean.
This story leaves one big question:
What happened to Lee Harvey Oswald's wife?
And she was truly not involvd in Lee's mission or she would be dead too by now...
She became his widow. Duh!
Of course we know she became his widow. But what does she do? We know she married Ken Porter, and I know he had a bar in Dallas at one time. I was there and partied in the late 60s when he was working, was not much of a place in my opinion. I also knew Ken's exwife when she worked at Collins Radio, she was a nice lady. I also worked at Collins at the time.
