


You think about the early jet age and it's hard not to think of the Kennedys. There's a reason for that. They helped usher it in. Until the Kennedy Administration, Air Force One was an old propeller plane. By 1963, it was a gleaming jet. Sadly, on that Friday in Dallas, it was far more than just the president's plane, as Martin Savidge reports.
