AC360 Exclusive: Brother of Toronto's crack smoking mayor speaks

An extremely tough week for Mayor Rob Ford ends with Toronto's City Council voting to take away some of his power. Ford has been making worldwide headlines since confessing to smoking crack. Lewd remarks he made Thursdayonly added to his growing list of problems. Throughout it all, his brother, Councilor Doug Ford has been one of his most fervent defenders. Tonight he spoke with CNN's Bill Weir.

self-serving drivel. Doug is the more polished, smarter of the two bully boys. They have used the left-leaning Toronto Star and other media as a whipping boy to cement their base support and inoculate themselves against criticism. Time after time, when media reports arose of Rob doing something inappropriate, illegal or outrageous, the Ford strategy was always to deny, to attack the accuser and as well as the reporter. But the reports always turned out to be accurate, and the Ontario Press Council dismissed all complaints they lodged against The Star and The Globe. Rob and Doug masquerade as the voice of the little man, of blue collar workers, while having been born to wealth. Their agenda is unfriendly to the poor. Both are bullies, uncouth and vulgar. Rob is a serial lier, a substance abuser, a hypocrite, likely involved in the alleged extortion committed by close friend Alessandro Lisi to obtain or suppress the crack video that "did not exist." Why give a platform to either if these scoundrels?Democracy gone bad.

I am from Toronto, and this family have done nothing but destroy this great city. They have a history of criminal activity. Toronto is struggling to find ways of getting rid of this guy! Please help us.
