Thank you very much, peoples of the world!
I'm very grateful and deeply moved by your enormous help and compassion towards my people here in the Philippines!
You have done what is noble and just that manifests your concern and longing for the benefit and goodwill of mankind.
You have shown great love and kindness for my people.
You have done things very admirable.
I cannot say the things that words alone cannot because it's beyond greatness you peoples express your cherished aspirations.
May God Almighty bless you richly for your kindness you all!
My heart goes out to all those affected by typhoon Haiyan, and while this storm is far more devasting.
it seems that many were caught off guard as we were when hurricane Ike devasted Galveston Island some years ago.
Many thought they could ride out the storm, but the storm surge was massive. There is much to be learned from these new super storms that should be shared with others around the world.
In your story you did not include category 5 typhoons that hit Guam in 1997 and 2002 or even the 8.2 earthquake of 1993. Guam does not suffer fatalities because the buildings are concrete, however we do suffer the loss of water and power for a period after as well as property loss.
