Rehab Racket: New report from The Center for Investigative Reporting

If you have been following our Rehab Racket series, you learned about shocking fraud in America’s largest Medicaid program that cost taxpayers millions. The investigation by CNN and the Center for Investigative Reporting led to the suspension of more than a hundred drug rehab centers, while others were completely shut down.

The CIR has done some additional reporting and found there are still rehab clinics with questionable billing practices reaping federal funds.
