New book claims Hillary Clinton & Chris Christie were nearly 2012 VP picks

FAA clears gadgets for takeoff

Good news for travelers who hate to put away their electronics before takeoff and landing. The FAA announced you will soon be allowed to use devices like e-books and tablets below 10,000 feet. Anderson spoke with New York Times tech columnist Nick Bilton who made it his mission to change these rules.

Federal authorities to review Georgia high school student's mysterious death

When 17 year old Kendrick Johnson died last January, his body was found in a rolled up gym mat. Local authorities ruled his death a tragic accident, but his parents have maintained he was murdered. Now federal authorities say they will investigate the case. The announcement came one day after a judge granted Johnson's family access to new evidence. Victor Blackwell has been following this story and has the latest on all of these developments.

Security forces who responded to Benghazi attack to testify behind closed doors

Sources tell CNN, security officers who who responded when Ambassador Stevens' compound was attacked will testify to Congress. The hearing set for the week of November 11 will happen behind closed doors. Drew Griffin broke the news on AC360.
Anderson discussed what all of this means with chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley, former CIA officer Robert Baer, and Patricia Smith, whose son, Sean was one of the four men killed in Benghazi.

"Game Change" authors "Double Down" with claims Biden was nearly dropped from 2012 ticket

It was nearly Obama / Clinton 2012. That's the latest bombshell from the team who wrote the book "Game Change" after the 2008 election. Their new book "Double Down" claims the Obama campaign did extensive polling and focus group testing on replacing Vice President Biden with then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2012. Anderson discussed all of this with New York Times correspondent Jonathan Martin and Chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley.
