Vice President Cheney's legacy

Former Vice President Dick Cheney opened up to Dr. Sanjay Gupta about his battle with heart disease. It started a new conversation about his legacy. Andrew Sullivan, who once considered himself a friend and supporter of Vice President Cheney explains why he now calls him a "man who made some of the worst decisions in American history."

Andrew is right. It is a stain on America-flies in the face of how Washington treated captured British troops–and is Cheney's lasting, blighted legacy

I appreciate the story and Mr. Cheney's second chance at life as a result of a heart transplant. It would have been a great opportunity for Mr. Cheney and CNN's acknowledgement of the gracious gift afforded to him and his family by the family that lost their love one who dontated their life. As a family member of an amazing 20 year old nephew who donated his organs, highlighting the family that gave Mr. Cheney a second chance at life would be very much appreciated and raise awareness on the importance of organ donation in this country.

    Thank you!
