Later this week, CNN will air the television premier of "Blackfish." The documentary tells the story of the SeaWorld trainer who was killed in 2010 by an orca named Tilikum. Martin Savidge takes a closer look at the controversial death.

what charity is best to donate to in order to free Tillikum and others.. or at a minimum put them in larger/ocean pens and not force them to perform for food... so that maybe gradually they can be returned to the wild?

totally horrified! it really opened my eyes, I will never, ever! go to SeaWorld to see orcas!!!! they don't deserve this kind of life, they deserve to live and grow with their families. Did you know baby orcas never leave their mothers for life???? yes! but what we do? kidnap them and provide the show for audience who is willing to pay to see their miserable lives....Very sad!

I was horrified. The explotation has got to stop. Where can i send donations to help free these whales and why haven't I heard anything from PETA in the past about orca abuse. How can this be stopped?

Blackfish was one the best films I've seen in a long time. I've been to Seaworld a few times with my children but I will never go back again. I watched the film with my wife and my eighteen year old son. We all came to the same conclusion that if you pay the money to get in the park you are part of the problem as well. We feel extremely sad for everyone that had died by an Orca whale while in captivity, in particularly Dawn. We also feel terrible for Tilikum, all because of profit. Thank you CNN for making us aware of the truth about Seaworld.
