Obamacare: Who pays more? Who pays less?

President Obama says no one is more frustrated than him about the problems with the Affordable Care Act website. A House committee announced today it will begin hearings this week on what went wrong, and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is expected to testify next week. When the President touts his plan, he often talks about people with pre-existing conditions who will save money. But what about other Americans? 360's Drew Griffin takes a closer look.
Anderson discussed all of this with Democratic strategist and pollster Cornell Belcher and GOP Strategist Kevin Madden. Cornell challenged Drew on his report.

    A few weeks ago I found out that my health plan will no longer be available to me. This was due to the health plans conforming to Obamacare. My husband is self employed, family of 4. We currently pay $1200 a month for insurance and today I found out that if I wanted something similar I would have to pay $200 more and have a deductible twice as much as I had before. The other options are worse. I would have to go to a $11,000 deductible in order to keep to my current payment. Not sure who Obamacare is helping, but it is costing me more money than we can afford. Not sure what to do, but all I can say is that these plans will most likely help the people without healthcare, but it's people like us who will be paying for them and then ultimately leave us in the same state they were in before Obamacare. How is that fair!

    Here is a perfect example of the liberal mindset. The guy on the left, Cornell(?) doesn't like the way CNN is reporting the negatives of the train wreck that is Obamacare. He doesn't want anything bad being said even if it is the truth. How can a family of four who couldn't afford health care premiums before at $600 a month still can't afford it. And these $5000 deductibles? People living paycheck to paycheck can't afford that either. They are still one health issue away from being homeless. This has to be part of teh Obama plan to push everybody in to a single payer plan. Insurance companies are pulling out of some states and raising the premiums in others. Slow-motion train wreck.. It will not end well....

    If Obama care is repealed or fails where do we go then? Back to Medicare that runs out of funds in a few years? The only solution during the election was to have seniors buy their own insurance in the open market. Insurance today cost about $800.00 to $1000.00 a month for the average family. Why then is CNN making such a stink about a possible solution for the working class American, and not focusing on the positive aspects of Obama care? It seems like your reporting is bias toward the people against this law. Not good.

    I really just want to say how much Obama care is a Joke.... I went on to see how much just me and my husband would have to pay cause we have insurance but that's besides the point... there are many of people from where I am from that's not going to be able to afford this but for the cheapest plan it was for 320 a month for us THANK GOD for our insurance cause that is a Joke....... I think that just in my opinion that if something's would change about it having insurance would be a great ideal for a lot of people but there is a lot of people that just really can not afford it and making them pay a fine when they cant even afford this Joke they want to call affordable care insurance what makes the GOVERMENT think they will be able to pay the fines especially when it goes up every year...

    Several years ago, CNN had an excellent series on healthcare programs in several industrial countries. It showed very clearly what can be done, what works, and how other countries have addressed the problem. Wouldn't be reasonable for Congress to set up a Blue Ribbon Committee that can review such programs, adopt the best aspects from them, and set up the most effective (using objective cost/benefit ratio criteria) healthcare program for the US? Unless, 'reasonable' and 'Congress' cannot be used in the same sentence.
