Mark Kelly on Nevada gun laws

The deadly shooting at a middle school near Reno is raising new questions about the nation's gun laws. Former Astronaut Mark Kelly became a vocal supporter of gun control after his wife Gabby Giffords survived a 2011 shooting. He joins the panel to weigh in on today's tragedy in Nevada, and what he sees as lax gun laws in the state.

The point in this shooting is how this 12-year-old gained possession of a handgun in his house. Why wasn't lock up in a safe? I think the parents should be held responsible the death and injury that the child caused. I don't want to hear, "Haven't they suffered enough?" Because of their irresponsibility, two people are dead and more injured, both physically and emotionally. If the full force of the law were brought down on irresponsible gun use, maybe people would start to take it more seriously.
