Breaking news in the Kendrick Johnson case
Surveillance video may shed light on the death of Georgia high school student Kendrick Johnson. His body was found in a rolled up gym mat. Authorities ruled his death an accident. But a second autopsy by the Johnson family showed he died from blunt force trauma. Victor Blackwell has the latest developments.

Amen. Ms Johnson never gave up. I lived there for a short while. So happy for the Johnson family for at least beginning to find the truth Now lets find justice and find his killers. What will be done with all the corruption in Lowndes county and the GBI.
Some kids pulled the wool over the adults eyes involved.
God Bless his family, I'm just glad they are making this public.

It seems like LE and the school officials would want to get to the truth of what happened. If this was not an accident it means that other students and teacher could be in great danger. Who wants to leave a killer wandering around amongst the population? Especially a killer or killers inside a school? I heard the parents who described their son as a nice person who had never been in trouble with the law. It is heartbreaking to think that someone took his life in a public place that should have been reasonably safe. It doesn't seem that this was an ordinary school fight but a terrible vicious beating where the killer/killers had to have known they were inflicting life-threatening damage on the victim. Had he still been alive when put in the mat, his chances of survival were gone. That is especially cruel. They meant to kill him and they need to be brought to justice. I hope they find the killer/killers and the motive.
