Alex Castellanos compares the budget battle to "bunny sex" and finds himself face-to-face with a rabbit

After a 16 day government shutdown, sometimes it is hard to find the right words to explain what's going on in Washington. Republican consultant Alex Castellanos raised plenty of eyebrows last night on AC360 when he tried using "bunny sex" as an analogy. Tonight he is face-to-face with Lucy the bunny.

Lucy is available for adoption.

Thanks for highlighting rabbit adoption! We have two rabbits, ourselves, and they make wonderful pets. They take a lot of care, which shouldn't be disregarded in an adoption process - about as mischievous as a dog if you leave them alone without training, but they can be litter-trained like a cat.

Thanks for featuring Lucy from the Washington Human Society Anderson! They do in fact make wonderful pets for a person who is ready for the responsibility of taking them into their home and making them a part of the family. One thing I might want to add, just like cats or dogs, we recommend that rabbits be spayed and neutered to ensure a healthier life and less behavioral problems. Looks like Alex Castellano's analogy brought out a positive endorsement for adopting rabbits from a shelter or rescue!
