An alleged al Qaeda operative, Abu Anas al Libi, is in New York after being captured by U.S. special forces in Libya this month. He is expected to appear tomorrow before a judicial officer. Al Libi’s wife said he was no longer a member of al Qaeda and had been living a normal life in Libya. Some terrorism experts don’t believe the suspect will have valuable intelligence about ongoing plots against the United States. Should he be at Guantanamo instead? Our panel discusses this case and where military tribunals fall in the U.S. judicial system.
