I have long admired Leo Grillo's magnificent work on behalf of abandoned animals. This story needs to be expanded and given the status of major animal news. Leo is leaving a great legacy, but a lot of help is needed to see that it continues on and on.

I have donated to Delta Rescue for years and like many others, I only wish I could do more. He seems to use his funds wisely, he doesn't send calendars or stickers or junk that none of us need, he writes a monthly letter and keeps us up to date on his mission. There is a special place in my heart and the hearts of all those animals for this wonderful man and his caring staff. Keep up the good work Leo.

Wish the news story was longer. I am impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. Leo is a hero to me and to those who can't save themselves. Wish there were more organizations like this. What will happen when Leo can no longer do the work? Are there others to take his place at the rescue?

I have donated to DELTA RESCUE for several years and only wish I had millions of dollars to give to him for his tireless, selfless and loving work. I don't have many real heroes or people I admire anymore, but this man truly has my deepest respect, admiration and my heart. HE is a true hero and I know he has earned a very special place in heaven. God bless you Mr. Grillo, and thank you from me and my schnauzers, Baron and Jack. Woof-Woof!!
