Washington's World War II memorial has become one of the frontlines for anger over the government shutdown. Days ago, a group of veterans defied the barricades to visit the monument that pays tribute to their service. Tempers reached a boiling point today as Texas Congressman Randy Neugebauer confronted a park ranger at the monument. Anderson takes a look at the video, and Dana Bash has the latest on the shutdown from Capitol Hill.

I am so thankful that I live in a country that has a multi-party government and strict gun laws. It's not that we are problem-free but it there has never been a government shutdown. The overused phrase 'we are the greatest country in theworld ' is wearing very thin. Maybe you have military might, but what does that mean when your country is falling apart on many other levels. Your lawmakers are a complete disgrace and obviously only care about their jobs and salaries. The "greatest country in the world". should clean up it's backyard and do better for its people. A proud Canadian!!
