Be careful with throwing around the words "also a change in the benefits they receive". If this applies only to Congress and the President, this is fine by me, but when you want to hold every middle class civil servant to these same rules, then our military force will be in BIG trouble. I already see lots of doctors who serve veterans head for the door along with many of my co-workers and peers with less than 10 years of civl service invested doing the same. Remember: 90% of civil servants earn less than $60K a year, many of which earn around $35K a year max. Believe me, we are Not overpayed, instead very very tired of civlians threatening civil servants livelyhood.

Since the Govt is "Shut Down" Big Boy temper tantrum. Not caring of the trickle down effect and how it affects our families, no money, no rent, no food ,no diapers ect. Don't you think we shouldn't have to pay taxes to a dysfunctitonal govt. I hope everyone out there agrees with me to not vote for any incumbants currently in office. Time for a real change! and message that a govt of the big cats, for the big cats and by the big cats is not acceptable!!!!
Lets not let them decide to play nice, everything is forgiven, and give them another shot, the damage has been done. Vote all of them out!!!

I agree Pamela everyone of them should be voted out if we didn't do our job we would be fired. The big boy temper tantrum isn't funny or cute. Its time for a change in how our government works and also a change in the benefits they receive.
