Tomorrow, a former teacher who was convicted of raping his then-14-year-old student is scheduled to walk out of jail in Montana.. after serving only a month. The lenient sentence for Stacey Rambold has received intense criticism, especially after the judge made statements suggesting the young victim was partly to blame because she was "older than her chronological age." Making the story even more tragic, the young victim, Cherice Moralez, isn't here to speak out. She killed herself in 2010 before the case went to trial. Kyung Lah has the latest.
Cherice Moralez's mother Auliea Hanlon spoke to Anderson about Rambold's sentence.
Anderson Cooper goes beyond the headlines to tell stories from many points of view, so you can make up your own mind about the news. Tune in weeknights at 8 and 10 ET on CNN.

I think that is a case of racism. It the girl had an English last name; the judge would have sentenced this teacher to jail for more time or for life, being that the girl suicidal indicates it was his fault.
