Let's hope the fatal injuries left Alexis' brain intact and they perform an autopsy. Could be another Charles Whitman, driven to murder by a brain tumor impinging on the amygdala.

Does it bother anyone else that when a tragedy of a shooting occurs they post a dozen or more pictures of the suspect smiling, having fun, enjoying his life at one time, etc? I find them offensive and disrespectful . These killers took all that away from the victims, they will never have that again. That's what I think of when these pictures are splattered on every news channel.. I don't know if its just me but its irritating......Thank You

Anderson Cooper, CNN and most of the liberal media, reported that the shooter had used an AR-15 despite repeated police reports that a shotgun had been employed. In another forcible and transparent effort to induce yet another tirade in favor of banning assault weapons, the truth was ignored in order to promote a political agenda. No one has apologized for the misinformation...
Also, no one invoked the "race card" as they would have had the shooter been a Caucasian. Why didn't anyone ask if these shootings were "racially motivated" which is always the first question brought up when the situation is reversed. Mr. Cooper and CNN would do themselves a favor if they restrained and reported news objectively.

    Anderson,

When people use a shotgun with buckshot that is for bird hunting and rabbits and such things, not for deer and large animals. Pumpkin balls are used for larger game. When you can't get the little details correct it make me wonder if you can get anything correct. Are you a journalist or just some guy talking about stuff that you have no idea how anything works?
