I trust what Putin is saying this time. He has a different/closer perspective on Syria than we..I think he doesn't want to have to help AlQaeda in any way. And they apparently make up some % of the fighters in Syria. I wouldn't be surprised if he secretly agreed to help President O'Bama out of a box. Nevertheless, we need them as friends and they need us in this radical world.
