I agree completely with Christiane. We cannot let this go by, they used weapons of mass destruction and killed 400 children, We learned 12 years ago how it feels to be the victims of weapons of mass destruction when commercial aircraft slammed into buildings and killed 3000 Americans. How can we forget that and allow this muddle that is going on right now influence our outrage and every protective instinct we have. They have WMDs and are willing to use them. its the willingness to use them and/or allow them to fall in to hands that would use them that really bothers me. Tell Mr. Putin to send the Russian army in there and to secure those weapons , then we can discuss the policy and procedure to send inspectors in. The US gets to be the worlds police force basically because no one else will do it.
The guests brought up moral equivalency. Was the US justified in dropping nukes on Japan, or Israel using white phosphorus over Gaza?
