Wow, since when to members of U.S. Congress give a damn what their constituents say? If memory serves me right a VAST majority of Americans were in support of back round checks for weapons purchases and it didn't seem to have any effect on how these members thought or voted. That would not stop gun violence all together in this country but it sure would be a start. Now with the situation in Syria deteriorating they all seem to have a conscience and want to vote the way the people of their districts feel. Amazing!!!!!!!! Let us not forget the 26 killed in Ct or any of the guns deaths daily that happen in THIS country. Must be NO Syrian lobby in D.C
