I think Sec John Kerry and Hagel deserve a Medal for all this "Talking' THEY DID JUST TO CONVINCE THE "AMERICAN CONGRESS " THAT DOESNT SEEM TO UNDERST THIS!
AND WE LET THEM MAKEDECISIONS FOR US!!!!
What most Americans don't seem to understand is that all these counties in the middle east are NOT LIKE AMERICA. .they don't have what we have...they don't live like we live here ...most don't even have electricity
or a stove or air conditioning.. live in huts and shacks .. Just look at the way these people dress like they still live century's ago...they are "Controlled " by Religion and "Dictators" that keep OIL and support money for themselves instead of developing their country and people
Most live in Poverty with NO WAY OUT! Look what they have now... a country that has destroyed all housing! That's why we need to help them
People in these counties want nothing more than to just live like most of us do "in freedom" without Dictators who rob and destroy everything!
That's why Assad is fighting...he ids hiding MILLIONS for HIMSELF
The right time for the U.S. to intervene it is when assad falls and before al qaeda takes over in syria. Other than that it is better to stay out of syria
Bombing assad and trying to bring everyone to the table to negotiate a settlement is not likely to work, because al qaeda is not likely to negotiate
To try to avoid a sectarian conflict, like the one in the congo were 6 million died in 25 years of sectarian war. Where 20 different groups/warlords rule the country. The syrian rebels should put down their weapons and give up on the revolution. The revolution doesn't belong to the syrian rebels anymore. The revolution belongs to al qaeda. The syrian rebels are too disorganized and fragmented. The syrian rebels may fight for decades and may accomplish nothing. Giving up on the revolution now, at least, it will save the lives of millions in syria
In the law of the jungle, the strongest one rules. Right now the strongest military force is with assad. The second strongest military unit is with al qaeda. The third strongest military unit is with the fsa. Right now al qaeda is allied with the fsa against assad. Once assad falls the strongest military unit will be al qaeda. And al qeda will rule syria
The syrian rebels do have a choice. The syrian rebels can put down their weapons and give up on their revolution. The revolution doesn't belong to the syrian rebels anymore. The revolution belongs to al qaeda. And the war and bloodshed will stop immediately between assad and the fsa. I believe this is the best path to peace in syria
The regional conflict argument is moot, because the middle east has been in a regional conflict for the last 3,000 years
Thousands of alowites, shiites, and christians were also killed in the conflict
