"I knew how he felt"
The gunman inside the McNair Discovery Learning Center was heavily armed, and packing 500 rounds of ammunition. Antoinette Tuff was armed with her heart, her empathy and her life experience. She explains to Anderson how tragedy in her life helped her break through to a would-be killer.

I don't think anything more can be said about the wonderful, compassionate job Ms. Tuff did! but I believe kudos should also go to the police officers. I don't know whether we heard it all and we didn't see it but I was also hoping that they were not too rough on him as he was also fragile. I know they have to take charge of the situation, speak with authority and protect their own lives! They did not sound as rough as some arrest situations I have heard.
