Hannah Anderson is free, after a daring rescue operation in the Idaho wilderness that left her kidnapper James DiMaggio dead. Hannah's father says she is now "surrounded by the love of her family, friends and community." FBI agents, acting on a tip from horseback riders, swarmed DiMaggio's campsite. CNN's Miguel Marquez takes a closer look at how it all unfolded.

I want to send Hannah and family my deepest condolences on the deaths of her mom and her younger brother. We were all so happy that she was found safely and unharmed. It's going to take some time for her to recover. She may not be ready to go back to El Capitan High School, in Lakeside, CA when school starts in a few weeks. G-d bless her and her whole family. My best regards to everyone.
