Several cruise lines, Holland America, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean, and more, are directly supporting mass cetacean slaughter, the grind, in the Faroe Islands, Denmark. Why is there not more said about this? The Faroe Islands are the Taiji of the North, killing hundreds of pilot whales, dolphins, and sometimes even orcas. Entire pods are wiped out by the Faroese whalers. The Faroese claim that they do not sell the meat, but there have been many occasions where tourists have bought and eaten the meat – as it's commercially sold in Faroese grocery stores.
Please cover this story, and expose the Faroe Islands and Denmark for this horrific grind slaughter of whales and dolphins. It is an environmental issue and our oceans are extremely important. If the oceans die, we die.
