Tonight on AC360 Anderson Cooper spoke exclusively to Juror B37 about the emotions she and the other Zimmerman trial jurors experienced after their verdict was read in court.
"It was just hard thinking that somebody lost their life and there’s nothing else could be done about it. I mean, it’s what happened, it’s sad, it’s a tragedy this happened. But it happened."
The juror said she thought both George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin were responsible for the situation. "I think both of them could have walked away. Umm, it just didn’t happen."
Anderson asked the juror if she felt sorry for Trayvon Martin. She explained that she is sad for both families, "I feel sorry for both of them. I feel sorry for Trayvon and the situation he was in. And I feel sorry for George because of the situation he got himself in."
Juror B37 said eventhough the jury decided a not guilty verdict for George Zimmerman's life they were saddened by their responsibility. "You find him not guilty, but you’re responsible for that not guilty and all the people that want him guilty aren’t gonna have any, any closure."
