Prosecution's closing arguments

"A teenager is dead ... through no fault of his own. He is dead because another man made assumptions." The prosecution's closing arguments said George Zimmerman profiled Trayvon Martin. In addition to the second-degree murder charge, prosecutors asked if the jury could consider manslaughter and third-degree felony murder charges.

    I hope this jury will judge this case based upon the actual evidence information but I find that as a human being we all are biased... It is so sad that race is being played here. Two very nice families have suffered due to human error of TWO individuals... and there is no repairing what has happened.. Trayvon has been portrayed as a baby and he wasn't. Zimmerman was portrayed as an older white man and he isn't... It is so sad to say the least that two families have been changed forever... I pray for all. I believe the jury will come back with manslaughter thinking he will be set free and not knowing he will serve more time.... God be with those jurors and the families..

    When I go to Target for something, I do not bring a gun with me. What is up with that? In fact, I do not think anyone other than the police should be carrying firearms on a regular basis.

    I felt that the first several statements made at the beginning of the prosecution's closing arguments, were very good. After that, it seemed to go downhill -=fast=-. The prosecution has never really offered a VERSION. I think the jury needs this. Also the props of skittles and tea were good, demonstrating the "childhood" like qualities and reinforcing that this was a minor child that died. But the yelling, skipping over a good 1/3 of his visual presentation , I found to be unnecessary and also gave a feeling that he was in a hurry. I get the constant feeling whenever I watch prosecution, during the course of this trial, that they are going through required motions to prosecute or attempt to, in that all the unrest that came after TM's death. The ongoing feeling of them putting out there what they have, but what they have isn't all that great.. it's mostly based on emotion. I feel they did the best they could, it's just that they don't have alot to go on. Whatever the outcome, a teen is dead and a grown man's life has been changed forever.. my hearts go out to both .

      You know it's simpler than they've made it. The Defense is their to free their client period. Mr. Zimmerman needs to accept responsibility for making assumptions that were dead wrong. He killed a young boy. He's claiming self defense but how can anyone believe that when he is a proven liar. You only lie when you have something to hide. Zimmerman got interviewed by Sean Hannity on Fox and outright lied and said he had no regrets about killing Trayvon. At least he could have said I'm sorry this boy is dead and I did think he was a possible burglar and that was incorrect but I was indeed defending myself. He didn't say that because he's lying.

    Put yourself in Trayvon's shoes 😉 Empathize with him and look at things from his point of view. 😀
    Trayvon was sent to dads because he was suspended. Zimmerman told him to come with him the police were coming. Trayvon didn't want to get in any more trouble and havign to talk to the cops was trouble. Trayvon said no and tried to walk away. Zimmerman tried to grab him, and they fought; trayvon to get away from creepy a_ crack er, zimmerman to apprehend suspicious a_hole. Zimmerman slips in grass and bangs own clumsy head, and blames on trayvon. Shoots trayvon to not look like a wimp. Lies to cops.
