This is what I do not understand. If Zimmerman thought Martin was so dangerous (life-threatening) why in the world would he get out of his car and go out of his way to follow him even after the police advised him not to? My guess: it's possible Zimmerman confronted Martin trying to enforce an authority he does not have, Martin "resisted," a fight ensued, Zimmerman was getting beat up, which resulted with him shooting Martin in a wave of emotion. Stupidity. The real problem is, you just cannot kill someone and walk away pleading self-defense when Martin did not instigate the situation. You plead self-defense when you kill someone who is attacking you without you provoking them first.

GZ started a situation that resulted in the death of an innocent person. He should be held accountable be a conviction in the state of Florida.

Zimmerman wasn't afraid because he had a gun, he knew he could resort to plan (A ) or plan (B) at anytime. A person caring a concealed weapon feels strong (he is lying). Zimmerman walks around in that community in the dark always prepared to do harm, he harbored (incontrollable) feelings against young black men, as said: (they always get away) in this instance in his (heart and mind) he was saying: not this time, not on my watch. (Not this time).

I want someone to explain to me how a person can get their head hit against the concrete with heavy force be able to stand
up to shot a person right in their chest without losing consciousness. I see foot players hit each other in the head with their football helmet that caused them to fall unconscious. Mr. Zimmerman is telling the world his head is harder than a helmet. It is impossible for him to have his head hit the concrete two or three times and he is able to stand up alert shot a person without falling unconscious.Mr. Zimmerman is lying about how the situation occurred. Mr. Zimmerman would have had a concussion to his head from hitting the concrete like football player. I hope some of the reporters start asking questions about how a person can remain conscious after their head been hitting the concrete.I hope and pray the true will come out at the trial.

Curious if this has came up. Backround: I am an AA male with a concealed weapons permit in Fl. My training was specific not to carry your firearm "to a place of nuisance .As a CWP carrier was it not illegal to carry a weapon in performance of duties as a neighborhood watch? If you thought you had a suspect and followed, are you NOT entering a place of nuisance? Confused. Had it been me where would I be?
