I agree with Chrysler, 51 deaths out of 2.7 million vehicles sold. It's a pretty small ratio. I have owned 4 jeeps and some of them are both models in question. There is more to this story that we are not hearing. Who was killed, the circumstances of the crashes and the weather conditions.
So lets say they do the recall, add it up at 250 bucks per repair , that's over half a billion dollars. That a hurting American company can't handle.
