Jodi Arias spoke with Phoenix television station KSAZ minutes after the jurors announced their guilty verdict. She says the outcome was unexpected. Arias still claims that she killed her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, in self-defense.
When asked about the possibility of being executed, Arias told the reporter she prefers that end rather than living out her days behind bars.
"The worst outcome for me would be natural life. I would much rather die sooner than later ... I said years ago that I'd rather get death than life, and that still is true today. I believe death is the ultimate freedom, so I'd rather just have my freedom as soon as I can get it," she said.

Personally, I would prefer to see her rot in prison amongst the worst of the worst rather than allow her an out.....a quick death sentence would be any convicts dream...let her pay....day by day!
Jodi is a disgrace. This trial was ridiculous, it was all about Jodi trashing Travis and she was the victim. Give her what she wants, the death penalty. She took a beautiful young man's life. God bless Travis's family.
Yes, prison anyway. She is right I would rather die than do life
Even with the death penalty, there will be years before it's carried out. I say let's save tax dollars by denying her any appeals and schedule the execution 1 week from the end of her hearing.
I am a mother of a murder victim, i can not believe the things she was allowed to say. All the days she was on the stand, all the days this case took. I do not know how the family could handle all the photos and all the horrible things she said. She has killed there brother, son and friend over and over again with her every word. mental illness, everyone that kills has something wrong with them. I think the judge was so wrong in so many ways, the case was suppose to be about her killing travis, not jodi's life story of sex and lies and how everyone did her wrong by her account.
So, let's grant her one last wish in this life.
She is out of wishes and this continues to NOT be about her!
She's looking for an easy way out. Let her rot in prison!
I am with you. Let's not waste tax payers dollars!
