Today President Obama spoke at a memorial service about the three people who lost their lives in the Boston Marathon attack. He offered prayers and shared memories from those closest to the victims.
Lingzi Lu was a 23-year-old graduate student studying mathematics and statistics at Boston University. A Chinese national, she had moved to the city in the fall. Lu and two friends were spectators at the marathon; one of her friends is recovering from injuries and the other was unharmed.
A close-knit family of five was torn apart by the violence. 8-year-old Martin Richard was killed in the bombings. His mother, Denise, and sister, Jane, were both severely wounded. A friend of the family told Anderson Cooper that Martin will be remembered as bright, energetic, friendly and faithful, and a leader among his peers. In a statement, his father, William, wrote in part. "We thank our family and friends, those we know and those we have never met, for their thoughts and prayers. I ask that you continue to pray for my family as we remember Martin."
Krystle Campbell's family initially believed she survived the explosion, but later learned that doctors misidentified Campbell as her friend who was with her that day. Colleagues say the 29-year-old restaurant manager had a strong work ethic and a "heart of gold." Her mother Patty told reporters, "You couldn't ask for a better daughter."

It is my opinion the government of this country should strongly say NO MORE. It's time the president, house and senate meet to develop a realistic plan to stop the violence. Talk is not going to do it, it's going to take action and zero tolerance with terrorist before it stops! We as American's should demand action.
As to the younger of the 2, if there was as much gunfire as they say, I believe he was also hit and even though he took off running, I think he got somewhere and died from his wounds. My heart goes out to each and every victim of what these two monsters have caused. I know we are supposed to hate the sin..not the sinner, but I have trouble accepting what could drive someone to do such a horrible act.
There are two aspects of this bomber manhunt that nobody is addressing – 1. why were the brothers actually at the bombing themselves, unless they were hoping to also be killed in the blast? and 2.- if this is the case , maybe that's why they had no get-away plan in terms of exiting the area and having money or tickets for the getaway.
Where & who is the mother of these two brothers? No mention of her. Agent?
