As a past competitor in the Boston Marathon, it breaks my heart to observe to tragedy today. My most cherished memories of the marathon are of the support and joy shared with my family and friends along the race course and at the finish line. From my observations, the spectators; including the mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, spouses, friends, Bostonians, and race support staff were greatly affected and suffered many, if not most of the injuries. They are just as big a part of the marathon as the runners. We all have suffered a great loss today. My thoughts and prayers go out to to those affected by today's events. I personally will go out for a run this week in honor of the victims of this terrible tragedy and to say to the terrorists you can never stop us from running.
Do you think it is relevant that the explosion was directly behind the Israeli flag?
